Sound-off first, audio second: a scoring rubric

We score rough cuts blind—literally with audio muted—to ensure the first two seconds communicate category and offer. Only after passing that gate do we layer VO and subtle sfx.

Participants learn to write captions as rhythmic percussion, not afterthoughts. Beats align with motion accents so viewers who process text-first still feel pacing.

The capstone exports a dual SRT file: one for paid placements, another trimmed for organic reposts where UI chrome differs.
