Designing color for cellular compression, not only Retina boards

Creatives approved on studio monitors often posterize on mid-range phones. We bake a cellular preview pass into critique sessions, forcing mid-tone separation that still matches brand palettes.

Participants build a three-stop gradient system: hero neon, structural neutral, and a rescue tone that keeps text legible when compression smears edges. The exercise uses real device captures from Jeju field tests.

Exports include a short README for partners describing which LUT to apply in post so offshore editors stay inside the same contrast envelope.
